Sophia Mansfield

Sophia is a Cotswold-based artist inspired by the ever-changing scenery as she walks with her dog, She loves the way colour and light vary from day to day and is fascinated by how temperature affects places. She paints landscapes and seascapes, people, animals and plants. She is drawn to details - in something as simple as a gate, a doorway, or the embroidery on a woman's shawl. Wherever possible, she enjoys the spontaneity and freedom of painting from life.
